Senate Republicans expected to block vote on Jan. 6 commission

Senate Republicans are expected to block on Thursday a bill creating a commission to investigate the pro-Trump riot at the US Capitol on January 6, preventing an investigation into an attack on their own workplace that led to the deaths of five people and about 140 police officers injured.
