Opinion: Protecting our kids and the world is not an either/or

On May 10, the US Food and Drug Administration authorized the Pfizer-BioNTech mRNA vaccine for emergency use among adolescents ages 12 to 15. Days later, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended the vaccine to everyone in this age group.
